Garlic Mashed Potatos

Thanksgiving mashed potatos are always loved by the family!Your always left with the bowl cleaned out withh nothing in it but spoon. And your mother-in-law constantly asking what the recipe is. Well for all the guys and gals out there that got stuck with having thanksgiving at there house this year, here is a delicious way to pull together a thanksgiving feast with a big bowl of garlic mashed potatoes

The creamy, and buttery mashed potatoes will just melt in your mouth. These garlic mashed potatos are sure to make your taste buds dance!

To make a delicious bowl of mashed potatoes you have to know exactly what to ingredients to put together. So, follow this recipe and I am sure you will and up loving love mashed potatoes as much as I do!



Ingredients 

  • 3 1/2 pounds russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 16 fluid ounces (2 cups) half-and-half
  • cloves garlic, crushed
  • 6 ounces grated Parmesan

Directions

Peel and dice potatoes, making sure all are relatively the same size. Place in a large saucepan, add the salt, and cover with water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat and then reduce heat to maintain a rolling boil. Cook until potatoes fall apart when poked with a fork.
Heat the half-and-half and the garlic in a medium saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Remove from heat and set aside.
Remove the potatoes from the heat and drain off the water. Mash and add the garlic-cream mixture and Parmesan; stir to combine. Let stand for 5 minutes so that mixture thickens and then serve.

Cook time: 50 mins.
10-12 servings
